Hang The Mad Man

Believe it or not, this was an actual brief that I was once given. In half an hour I had turned a blank sheet of paper into 127 lines of pure filth and fury .This equates to 4.23 dirty words per minute or 0.07 per second.

The resulting list came to be referred to as The Cockument. The company that the technical development was outsourced to said they had “never seen such a comprehensive blacklist”.

It has since been buried deep within the archives. But not before it was read out aloud to all those in the office bold enough to listen.

For what it’s worth, the Creative Director’s favourite word was skullfuck.



And the lesson to be learnt? Do every job to the best of your ability and use your imagination. If nothing else you might entertain someone...
